Mr. Harry Thomas Watts of South Fulton, TN died January 23, 2011 at the Golden Living Center in Union City, TN.
He was a self-employed builder and farmer. He was a U.S. Army
veteran who was in the last infrantry of the Calvery, and was a member of the former Oak Grove Church of Christ. He had lived in this area all of his life.
He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Dorothy Nanney Watts of South Fulton, TN, whom he married Dec. 22, 1940; two daughters and sons in law Lisa & Dennis Russell of Cordova, TN and Susan and George Trenholm of Murray, KY, three grandchildren Micah Edmison of Martin, TN, Leslie Green Boaz of Murfreesboro, TN and Carmen Smith of Dexter, KY and two great grandchildren: Avery Boaz of Murfreesboro, TN and Lexie Edmison of Martin, TN.
He was preceded in death by his parents Richard Lonzo Watts and
Annie Elizabeth (Young) Watts, a sister and a brother.
Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Tuesday, Jan. 25 at the Hornbeak Funeral Chapel and interment will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 12 noon Tuesday until the funeral hour.
