She was a homemaker and had lived most of her life in St. Charles IL. She has lived the past 16 years in Cottage Grove TN and Water
Valley KY.
She is survived by a daughter Mary Ball of Water Valley Ky, three sisters, Norma Roach of St. Charles IL, Linda Hardin of
Nacogdoches TX, and Wanda Starr of St. Charles IL, four brothers,
Harold Jones of St. Charles IL, James Jones of Carol Stream IL,
Paul Jones of Bolivar MO, and Jake Jones of St. Charles IL, four
grandchildren, Jennifer Ellegood of Fancy Farm KY, Heather Hillin
of Water Valley KY, Brandon Ball of Caledonia OH, and Neil Fowler
of Water Valley KY and seven great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Opal Lee and Minnie
Freeman Jones and two sisters Theda Busby and Estelle Huckabee.
Funeral services for Helen Canestini will be held at 1PM Sunday in our funeral chapel. Burial will follow in the Water Valley Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5 to 8 Saturday and after 9AM Sunday until the funeral hour.
