Henry Louis Cobb, Sr.
December 28, 1936 — March 5, 2007
He had retired from J.E. Campbell, Inc. in South Fulton, TN after 28 years of service. He was of the Pentecostal faith and had lived in this area most of his life.
He is survived by his wife - Shelby (Glover) Cobb, of Water Valley, KY, whom he married August 28, 1957. 3 sons: Henry L. Cobb, Jr. of Murray, KY, William Lee Cobb of Greenfield, TN and Paul Joseph Cobb of Union City, TN. 2 daughters: Pamela Frances McCord and Aletha Cheryl Vanmeter, both of Water Valley, KY. 14 grandchildren & 2 great grandchildren. 3 brothers: Larry Cobb of Dresden, TN, Billy
Joe Cobb and Danny Cobb, both of Greenfield,TN. 2 sisters: Betty
Cobb of Martin, TN and Dean Franklin of Saint Joseph,Michigan.
He was preceded in death by his parents- Mattie Lou (Bryant) &
Robert E. Lee Cobb, & 9 brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday (3/8/07) in our funeral chapel and burial will be in the Water Valley Cemetery. Visitation for Mr. Cobb will be from 5-8 p.m. on Wednesday and anytime after 8 a.m. on Thursday until the funeral hour.
