Heron "George" Grissom

Heron Grissom (PIE) passed away July 10, 2013 at the Martin Health
Care. He was born on March 11, 1924 to Belle (Cox) and Marshall
Stephens Grissom. He married Betty Jo Shelton on July 26, 1948 in Corinth, MS and she preceded him in death June 30, 1991.
He is survived by his daughter and son in law Linda and Glenn Snow and
a son Buddy Grissom, all of South Fulton, TN; 7 grandchildren Michael and Jamey Snow, Jess and Aimee Grissom, Chuck Reilly, Holly and Britt True; 13 great grandchildren Elizabeth, Brandon, Alayna, John Robert and Lexi
Snow, Reagan, Riley Beth and Shelton True, Trinity, Chandra and Anya Reilly and Lane and Alexas Grissom. He is also survived by a brother Harold Grissom of Fulton, KY.
He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, two daughters
Sandra True and Susan Mina Grissom and five brothers Lubin, L.S.,
Eugene, Merle and Macon Grissom.
He was retired from Sherwin Williams, and he had worked several years at the Box Factory in Martin, and had also worked at many service stations in Fulton,KY and South Fulton,TN.
Heron was a devout husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He loved his family.
Funeral service will be 2 pm on Saturday, July 13 with interment in the Acree Cemetery in Weakley Co., TN. Visitation will be at the Hornbeak Funeral Chapel
from 10 am Saturday until the funeral hour.
