Mrs. Irene Yates died April 20,2010 at the Haws Memorial Nursing and Rehab Center in Fulton, KY.
She was a member of the Pleasant View General Baptist Church and had retired from the Ferry Morse Seed Company in Fulton,KY.
She is survived by an son Edward Yates of South Fulton, TN,
5 grandchildren: Tony Yates of South Futlon,TN, Jason Yates of Evansville,IN, Myreta Cooper of Lumberton, TX, Marsha Yates and Gordon Yates, both from Texas; 5 great grandchildren: Justin Yates and Tabathia Yates both of Pilot Oak, KY, Paige Dortch of Martin, TN, Kurt Cooper of Texas and Cory Cooper of Lumberton,TX; and a niece Rebecca Grause Johnson of Mayfield, KY.
She was preceded in death by her husband Guy Anderson Yates, her
parents Mitchell Lee and Mary Florence (Maxberry)Grause, a son Robert G. Yates, an adopted son, a granddaughter Teresa Dortch and 4 brothers.
Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Thursday, April 22 at the Hornbeak Funeral Chapel. Interment will be in the Old Bethel Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 5-8 pm on Wed. and anytime after 8 am Thursday until the funeral hour.
