Jack Parker Dobson

Jack Parker Dobson, 74, prominent business man of Martin, TN died
March 6, 2010. He was born December 31, 1935, in Martin,
the son of Lee J. Dobson and Ora Dunn Dobson. He was a member of
the Martin Church of Christ and served in the Tennessee National
Guard.

Jack was founder of Dobson-Wright Pontiac-GMC- Mazda, Chrysler-Plymouth-Dodge new auto dealership in Martin. He owned several used auto dealerships,
and purchased and developed businesses and real estate in the four county area.

Surviving are his wife of 53 years, Hannah Ferguson Dobson, and family,Mike Dobson, Nashville; David Dobson, Martin; Tony & Darlene Dobson,Union City; Jenny Dobson, Brentwood; 6 grandchildren: Laura Dobson
Harrison, Knoxville,TN, Lee Roy Dobson, Antioch, Micky Dobson,
Clarksville, Lance Dobson, Vandenberg AFB, CA, Parker & Jonathan Dobson of Union City;
2 great grandchildren: Grant Harrison and Jack Harrison, both of Knoxville, TN. Also surviving is a sister, June Dobson
Lee of Martin, and one niece Charlotte Carroll, Martin.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday, March 9, 2010 at the Bethel Church of Christ in Martin, TN. Interment will be in the Eastside Cemetery. Friends may call at the Bethel Church of Christ from 1 p.m. Tuesday until the funeral hour.
