James Kenneth Allen

Mr. James Kenneth Allen age 82, of Pilot Oak, KY passed away on Friday, March 21, 2025, at the Anna Mae Owen Residential Hospice House in Murray, KY. Mr. Allen was born on November 15, 1942, in Dresden, TN, to the late James Basil Allen and Laverne Mcdaniel Allen. He lived most of his life in the Pilot Oak Community. He was married to the former Judith Matheney Allen for 46 years. 

As a young man, he spent several years doing farm work. In his later years, he worked as a carpenter, where he served as a supervisor and foreman for J's Construction and Crouch Construction.

Mr. Allen is survived by a son James David (Joyce) Allen of Wingo, KY, and two daughters; Bonnie Denise Allen of Mayfield, KY, and Melissa Coleman of Almo, KY. five grandchildren; James William (Whitney) Allen of Farmington, KY, James David Jr. (Danielle) Allen of Mayfield, KY, Dustin (Whitney) Boles of Wingo, KY, Morgan Willie of Murray, KY and Alex Willie of Mayfield, KY. Thirteen great-grandchildren; Adrienna Allen, Samuel Allen, Gunner Allen, Caroline Allen, Lydia Allen, Brinley Boles, Greason Boles, Keagan Boles, Kinsley Boles, Bryson Scott, Cameryn Scott, Claire Sudduth, and Anna Mae Sudduth One Sister, Nancy Vanvuren of Martin, TN. 

In addition to his parents, Mr. Allen is preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Judith Matheny Allen

Funeral services for Mr. James Kenneth Allen will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, March 24, 2025, in our Funeral Chapel, Bro. Verlin Clark will officiate, and burial will follow in the Pryorsburg Community Fellowship Cemetery. Visitation for Mr. Allen will be held at the funeral from 11:00 AM Monday until the time of service.
