He was a resident of the Pilot Oak Community. He was a retired
mechanic and farmer. He was a member of the Bethlehem United
Methodist Church in Pilot Oak KY and was a lifelong resident of
Graves Co. KY.
He had served as a Corporal in the U.S. Army during W.W. II and had recieved the EAME Theater ribbon with 3 bronze stars, and good conduct medal and the victory medal.
Mr. Brann attended grade school and high school in Pilot Oak and
was a commissioned Kentucky Colonel.
He is survived by his wife to whom he married August 25,1978,
Mossie D. Morgan Beadles Brann of Pilot Oak KY, a daughter
Barbara (Bill) Alderdice also of Pilot Oak KY, two sons, Danny Namon (Jane) Brann of Union City TN, Billy T. Brann of Mayfield KY, two stepsons, Terry W. (Darlene) Beadles and Mike (Debbie) Beadles both of South Fulton TN, a step daughter, Betty (Don) Smith, New Albany IN., eight grandchildren, seven step grandchildren, fourteen
great grandchildren, thirteen step great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William Walter and
Rosa Carr Brann, his first wife, Lola Mae Brann, two sisters, Blanch Russell and Lillie Mae Fuqua and three brothers, Loyal, Ezra and Aaron Brann, one grandchild and one great grandchild.
Funeral services for Namon Brann will be held at 2PM Saturday in our funeral chapel. Burial will follow in th Bethlehem cemetery in Pilot Oak KY. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5 to 8PM Friday and anytime Saturday until the funeral hour.
