Mr. James Hazlewood, age 85, of South Fulton,TN died Monday, November 1, 2010 at the Haws Memorial Rehab & Nursing Facility in Fulton, KY.
He was a member of the Parkway Church of Christ in Fulton,KY and
was retired. He had been the owner/operator of the former S.P. Moore,Inc. in South Fulton, TN from 1962-1987. He was also a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in World War II. He had lived in this area all of his life.
He is survived by his wife Mary L. (Wall) Hazlewood of South Fulton, TN,whom he married Feb. 22, 1946; 2 sons and daughters in law: David and Kathy Hazlewood and Donald and Rita Hazlewood, all of South Fulton,TN; 3 grandchildren: Jill Reeves of Springfield,TN, Heather Cook
of South Fulton, TN and Justin Hazlewood of Jonesboro, TN; 4 great grandchildren:Austin Hazlewood, Alexis Cook, both of South Fulton and Garrett Reeves and Connor Reeves, both of Springfield,TN. Three brothers Tom Hazlewood of Jackson, TN, Marshall Hazlewood and Leon Hazlewood,both of Martin, TN and three sisters Sara Wall of Fulton,KY, Carol Fisk of Symsonia, KY and Kay Exum of Martin,TN.
He was preceded in death by his parents Homer and Esther (Chappell) Hazlewood and a brother Joe Hazlewood.
Funeral services will be held at 1 pm Thursday, November 4, 2010 at the Parkway Church of Christ at 1301 Middle Rd., Fulton,KY.
Interment will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Dukedom, TN. Visitation will also be held at the Parkway Church of Christ from 10 am Thursday until the funeral hour.
