James Roy "Jim" Vowell

He was a member of the Fulton Cumberland Presbyterian Church in South Fulton, TN., and had lived all of his life in the McConnell Community. He worked at the former Fields Ashby Lumber Company in Fulton, KY and the Shoemaker Lumber Company in McKenzie, TN.

He is survived by his wife of fifty years, Betty Johnson Vowell, two sons, Tim Vowell of Union City, TN., Tab Vowell of Jackson, TN., a daughter, Paige Pagter of Huntington Beach, CA., eight grandchildren and two
great grandchildren, two brothers, Jasper Vowell of Fulton, KY., Tab Vowell of Louisville, KY., two sisters, Maggie Cummings of Lexington, KY.,
and Janie Huddleston Parker of Brentwood, TN.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy C. and Lyvenia (Williams) Vowell.

Funeral services for Mr. Jim Vowell will be held at 1:30 Saturday in our funeral chapel. Burial will follow in the Eastside Cemetery in Martin, TN. Friends may call the funeral home after 10:00 AM Saturday until the funeral hour.
