He was a member of the Reelfoot Baptist Church and was a
retired farmer. He was also a U.S. Army veteran having served
in World War II.
He is survived by a stepson - John Jackson of Union City, TN,
3 step daughters - Norma Nelson of Yuma, AZ, Carol Hornyak
of North Shores, MI and Shirley McIlwraith of Victoria, British Columbia Canada, 22 grandchilden, 24 great grandchildren and 5 great
great grandchildren, a half sister - Marie Burt of Spring Lake,MI and a half brother - Billy Kerley of Savannah, GA.
He was preceded in death by his wife-Gertrude (Malpass) Wilson,
his parents - Clyde and Vira (Howard) Wilson and a stepson -
Milton Jackson.
