Jeannie Byrd

Mrs. Jeannie Byrd of the Cayce community died Wednesday evening,
June 6, 2018  at the Jackson Madison County Hospital in Jackson, TN.

  She was a member of the Cayce United Methodist Church where she
served as pianist for several years. She was a graduate of Murray State
University and was a retired teacher with the Fulton County School System.
She had lived all her adult life in this area.

She is survived by her husband David Byrd whom she married in 1971,
two daughters Heather Ann Honeycutt (David) of Atlanta, GA and Mandy
Lee Byrd of Murray, KY, her parents Bruce and Viva McLean of Centralia,
IL, two brothers Dennis McLean (Becky) of Centralia, IL and Mike McLean
of Los Angeles, CA.

Funeral service will be Sunday, June 10 at 2 pm at the Cayce United Methodist
Church with burial to follow in the Ebenezer Cemetery.  Visitation will be at the
Hornbeak Funeral Home from 5-8 pm on Saturday.  Mrs. Byrd will lie in state at
the Cayce United Methodist Church from 1 pm Sunday until the funeral hour.
