Jerry E. Murray, Sr.
August 23, 1939 — June 11, 2010
He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Fulton, KY., and
he graduated from Henry County High School in Paris TN. He worked as a Builder for many years in this area and he was a veteran of the U.S. Navy where he served in the Squadron VP5 known as The Mad Foxes while stationed in Jacksonville, Florida.
He is survived by his wife, Alice H. Murray of South Fulton, TN. to whom he married March 5, 1960, his mother, Margaret Long of Fulton, KY., a son and daughter in law Jaye and Kim Murray
of South Fulton, TN., a daughter and son in law, Mandy and Mike Garland of Franklin, TN., four grandchildren, Sam Murray and Slade Murray both of South Fulton, TN., and Logan Garland and Jack Garland both of Franklin,TN., a sister Shelby (Bobby) Freeman of Paris, TN., and a sister in law, Linda H.
(Larry) Jones of Paris, TN.
He was preceded in death by his father Frazier Thomas Murray.
Funeral services for Mr. Jerry Murray will be held at 2PM Monday in our funeral chapel. Burial will follow in the Obion County Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 to 6PM Sunday and anytime monday until the funeral hour.
