Mrs. Jewel Myatt, age 88, of Clinton, KY and formerly of Fulton died January 15, 2013 at the Clinton - Hickman I.C. F.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Fulton, KY and was a member of the former Dorcas Sunday School Class, was a
cosmetologist and the owner of the former Jewel's Beauty Shop,where she retired in 1975. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star,where she served as Worthy Matron for two terms and was a member of the Roberts Lodge #172. She had lived in this area most of her life,
in Mayfield, Crutchfield and Fulton, KY.
She is survived by two nieces Sandra Lusk of Fulton, KY and Anita Ross of Union City, TN and a nephew Pat Myatt of Fulton,KY.
She was preceded in death by her husband Richard Myatt, her
parents, Bruce and Mattie (Parker) Slayden, and several brothers and sisters.
Graveside services will be held at 1 pm on Friday, January 18 at the Greenlea Cemetery in Fulton. There will be no visitation held at the funeral home and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery at the hour of service.
