Jim T. Nelson, Sr.

Jim Nelson, Sr., age 72, of South Fulton, TN died March 5, 2016 at Tennova Healthcare – Volunteer Martin.
He was a member of the St. Edwards Catholic Church and had been a supervisor for the former Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. in Union City, TN.
He is survived by two daughters and sons in law Stacey and Lee Ussery of Martin, TN and Sondra and Jason Gibbs of Fulton, KY and a son and daughter in law Jim and Renee Nelson of Milan, TN; six grandchildren and two sisters Irene Nelson Pence of Luray, VA and Margaret Nelson Hawk of Mineral, VA and a brother William Nelson of Western Port, Maryland.
He was preceded in death by his wife Susan "Sue" Fazenbaker Nelson, his parents Robert and Gertrude Smith Nelson, a grandchild James “Jake” Gibbs and a brother Robert Nelson.
Funeral service was Monday, March 7, 2016 at the St. Edwards Catholic Church and interment was in the Union Cemetery. Rev. Robert Drury officiated.
