Mr. Jimmie Richard Childers, age 65, of Corpus Christi, Texas and formerly of Fulton Co., KY died July 14, 2011 in Corpus Christi, TX.
He was a retired employee of the National Resource Conservation Service. He had lived in Corpus Christi for the past 18 years.
He is survived by his wife Billie Arlene (Sheek) Childers of Corpus Christi, TX, two sons Jeff Childers of Springhill, FL and Jason Childers of Cincinnati, Ohio and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents Richard and Nellie (Thompson) Childers and a brother,
Bill Childers.
Memorial graveside services will be held at 1PM Monday, June 11,2012 at the Pleasant View Memorial Gardens. There will be no visitation or services held at the funeral home. Friends are asked to meet at the cemetery for memorial graveside services.
