Jimmie Gerald Pruiett

Mr. Jimmie Gerald Pruiett, age 71, of Calvert City, KY died January 2, 2011 at the Lourdes Hospital in Paducah, KY.
He was of the Baptist faith and had retired from the Fulton Fire & EMT with 17 years of service and then he worked for the South Fulton Fire Department for 17 years. He had lived in Calvert City for the past three years but had lived in Fulton, KY and South Fulton, TN most of his life.
He is survived by his wife Nancy (Duke) Pruiett of Calvert City, KY, whom he married Aug. 14, 2008,
a daughter Kristi Tripp of Mayfield, KY; 3 sons Mark Pruiett of Mayfield,KY, Shane Pruiett of Smyrna, TN and David Shannon Pruiett of Martin, TN; a step son Tony Potts of Fulton,KY and a step daughter Kelli Jo Bennett of Martin, TN; 11 grandchildren, 8 step grandchildren,2 great grandchildren and 2 sisters Jo Ann Green of Paducah, KY and
Ruth Hailey of South Fulton, TN.
He was preceded in death by his parents James "Pete" and Estelle
(Campbell)Pruiett.
Funeral services will be held at 1 pm Wed., Jan. 5, 2011 at the Hornbeak Funeral Chapel and interment will be in the Pleasant View Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 5-9 pm on Tuesday and anytime Wednesday until the funeral hour.
Memorials may be made to the Jackson Chapel Church, c/o Sadie Humphreys, 778 Humphreys Rd., Clinton,KY 42031.
