She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Fulton, KY., and was the co-owner of the Leader Store and Leader Travel in Fulton, KY. She was a member of the Jacob Flournoy Chapter of the DAR and had lived
most of her life in this area.
She is survived by her husband, Mike Homra of Fulton, KY., to whom she married September 20, 1959, and four daughters Michelle Wheat of Union City, TN., Valerie Johnstone of Jackson, TN., Stephanie Simmons of Lexington, KY., and Bridget Pirtle of Fulton, KY., she also leaves nine grandchildren, Kelly McDaniel of Murray KY., Kristen Greer of Fulton, KY., Foster Johnstone ,
Mary Parker Johnstone , Aline Wells Johnstone all of Jackson TN., Elizabeth Pirtle of Fulton KY., Molly Simmons and Maggie Simmons both of Lexington KY., and Annie Ruth Pirtle of Fulton, KY.
She was preceded in death by her parents Henry Tune and Mary Parker Tune Black.
A Memorial service for Mrs. Joan Homra will be held at 2PM Tuesday at the First United Methodist Church. Friends may call at the church after 12PM Tuesday until the service hour.
