Joanne Overby Conner

Mrs. Joanne Overby Conner, age 80, of Mayfield,KY and formerly of South Fulton, TN died August 3, 2013 at the Green Acres Nursing Home in Mayfield.
She was a member of the Riceville Baptist Church and was a homemaker.
She is survived by a granddaughter Amy Jo Dublin of Farmington, KY, three great grandchildren and a sister Deloris Orr of Paducah, KY.
She was preceded in death by her husband Goble "Tunny" Overby, her parents Syril Lorrine (Henderson) and John Wayne Hawks, two daughters Brenda McClure and Beverly Anne Overby, a sister Lee Wild and two brothers John Wayne Hawks and Aaron Hawks.
A graveside service will be held at 1 pm on Wednesday, August 7 at the Obion Co. Memorial Gardens in Union City, TN. There will be no visitation held at the Hornbeak Funeral Chapel and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery at the hour of service.
