Joe W. Glasgow
June 7, 1930 — April 24, 2018
Mr. Joe Glasgow, age 87, of South Fulton died Tuesday
morning 4/24/18 at the Obion Co. Nursing Home in Union City, TN.
He was a member of the Martin Church of Christ and had been a the
manager for the Fulton Manor; he also had rental properties, former
Meadow Wood Apartments and was an insurance adjuster for GAB
Insurance Company for over 25 years. He was a avid hunter and
fisherman and had served in the National Guard. He had lived in this
area most of his life.
He is survived by his wife Mary Lou (Crouch) Glasgow of South Fulton,
TN, two sons Danny Joe Glasgow (Linda) of Friendsville, TN
and Mark Edward Glasgow of South Fulton,TN, a daughter Kathye Stem of
South Fulton, TN; 2 grandchildren: Cody Stem and Mayce Glasgow, both of
South Fulton, TN.
He was preceded in death by his parents Bernis and Zula Woodard
Glasgow and a sister.
Funeral service will be held at 11 am Friday, April 27 at the Hornbeak Funeral
Chapel and burial will be in the Sunset Cemetery in Dresden, TN. Visitation will
be at the funeral home from 5-8 pm on Thursday.
