Mr. John Beard of South Fulton,TN died Sunday, July 18, 2010 at his home.
He was a member of the Second Baptist Church in Clinton, KY and was retired from MTD as a custodian. He had also worked for the former Reelfoot Packing Company as a processor. He had lived in Rutherford,Union City and South Fulton, TN.
He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Rita (Vaughn) Beard of South Fulton,TN; 2 sons Marc Beard of Rutherford, TN and Keith Beard of Milan, TN; a step daughter Joy Turner of Dickson, TN, 6 grandchildren and 1 great
grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents Hilda (Fields) and Johnny Beard, a step daughter Amy Choate Turner and a brother Billy Beard.
Funeral services will be held at 1 pm Wednesday in our funeral
chapel with burial to follow in the Obion Co. Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at the
funeral home from 5-8 pm on Tuesday and anytime Wed. until the funeral hour.
Memorials may be made to the Second Baptist Church Building Fund, c/o John McAuliffe, 101 Cunningham Drive, Clinton, KY 42031.
