Formerly of this area, he was of Baptist faith. He was a retired welder for an automotive company. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
He is survived by a son and daughter in law, Michael and Shari Potts of Center Line, MI., a sister, Helen Lager of Cadillac, MI., five grandchildren,
Jeffrey Potts of AZ, Carrie Rosenau of Port Huron, MI., Jason Potts of Yale MI., Brian Potts and Rachel Potts both of Center Line, MI., and six great grandchildren, Jorissa Potts and Ethan Potts both of AZ., Alexis Potts of Yale, MI., Kaleb and Conner Rosenau of Port Huron, MI.,
and Evan Potts of AZ.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia (Meadows) Potts in
December of 2006, his parents, Kennard W. and Irene (Bonds) Potts, and a brother, Danny Potts.
Funeral services for Kennard W. Potts, Jr. will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in our funeral chapel. Burial will follow in the Pleasant View Memorial Gardens. Friends may call the funeral home after 9 a.m. Monday until the funeral hour.
