Larry Hood

Larry Hood, age 65, of South Fulton, TN died March 13, 2011 at his residence.


He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Fulton,
KY and was a U.S. Navy veteran. He worked as a social worker
for the Veteran's Administration in Nashville, TN for 15 years. He held a Master's Degree in Social Work from Middle Tennessee State University. He had lived in this
area most of his life.


He is survived by two sons Brian Hood of Fulton, KY and John Waylon Hood of Mayfield,KY and a daughter Dee Ann Burklow of Paducah, KY; three grandchildren
Michael Burklow, Christina Burklow and Austin Burklow,
all of Paducah, KY and three sisters Shirley Hood Mann
of South Fulton, TN, Carolyn Clay of Birmingham, AL and Patricia Bowden of Louisville, KY.


He was preceded in death by his parents Ruth (Wilson) and
James L. "Roy" Hood.



Funeral services will be held at 1 pm on Wednesday, March 16
at the Hornbeak Funeral Chapel and interment will be in the
Obion Co. Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be at the funeral
home on Tues. from 5-8 pm and on Wed. until the funeral hour.
