He had lived in this community all of his life and was of Baptist Faith. He was a retired social worker for Community Services of Kentucky.
He is survived by his wife Aleta (Bewley) Irvan to whom he married
September 18, 1982, of Wickliffe, KY., his first wife, Judith (Stanfield) Wolfe of Risco, MO., five daughters, Missy Lewis (Kathy Lofton) of
Pryorsburg, KY., Cathy (David) Howerton of Wingo, KY.,Carol Hagen
of Charleston, MO. Tammy ( Mark) Julius and Jennifer (Jerry) Newton
both of New Madrid, MO., two sons, Ronnie (Abigal) Irvan of Dresden, TN., George Lewis of Mayfield, KY., two brothers, Bobby Irvan of Memphis,TN., and Johnny Irvan of Princeton, KY., 17 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents John Boyd Irvan and Ada Helen (Hopkins) Irvan.
A Memorial service will be held at 2PM Sunday at the Greater St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church in Wingo KY. No services or visitation will be held at the funeral home.
