Mrs. Lela (Crocker) Tate, age 85, of Fulton, KY died Wednesday, December 1,2010 at the Haws Memorial Nursing Home.
She was a member of the Gleaners Sunday School Class at First Baptist Church in Fulton,KY and had been the owner/operator
of the former Tate's Market in Fulton.
She is survived by 2 sons and 2 daughters in law: Mike & June Tate of South Fulton, TN and Bradley & Diane Tate of Zachary, LA; 2 grandchildren Elizabeth Tate Massey of Cane Ridge, TN and Jennifer Tate Reitzell of Zachary, LA; 1 great grandchild Berkley Reitzell of Zachary, LA; 2 brothers Dr. H.D. "Dan" Crocker of South Fulton, TN and Dr. Eddie Crocker of Jackson, TN and a sister Phyllis Willingham
of Titusville, Florida.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Riley W. Tate, her parents Annie
(Thetford) and Velmer O. Crocker and a brother Gerald Crocker.
Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Friday, December 3, 2010 at the Hornbeak Funeral Chapel and interment will be in the Obion Co. Memorial Gardens in Union City, TN. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 12 noon Friday until the funeral hour.
