Mr. "Moss" Batts of South Fulton TN died Wednesday at the Methodist University Hospital in Memhis TN.
He was a member of the South Fulton Baptist Church and was a self employed truck driver. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served during the Korean Conflict. He had lived all of his life in this area.
He is survived by his wife, Teena Pollard Batts of South Fulton
to whom he married September 5, 1987, eight children, Richard Batts and Rose (Ricky) Smith both of Union City TN, Anthony Batts, Allen(Bonnie) Batts, Kimberly Batts, Jimmy (Michelle) Daniels, Ricky Daniels and Tim (Amy) Kopriva all of South Fulton TN, twelve grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and a brother, William Batts of Clinton KY.
He was preceded in death by two wives, Ivanell Crittendon Batts and Lana Jo (Counce) Batts, his parents, Vester and Eunice (Jackson) Batts, two brothers, Gerald Batts and Charles Batts, and a sister, Shirley Evans.
Funeral services will be held at 11AM Friday in our funeral chapel. Burial will follow in the Clark Cemetery in Hickman Co. KY.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 5 to 8PM Thursday.
