Mrs. Lomega Belle Allen, age 100, of Fulton,KY died January 13, 2013 at her home.
She was of the Baptist faith and had retired from Combined Insurance Company in Chicago, IL where she worked in the custodial department. She moved to Fulton, KY in 1980 following the death of her husband, Fred Allen.
She is survived by two daughters and a son in law, Ida Faye Allen of Fulton, KY and Patricia Ann Harvey (John) of Evansville, IN and two sons and daughters in law, F. Spencer Allen (Janice) of Morton Grove,IL and Richard E. Allen (Patricia) of Navato, CA; nine grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and three sisters Amy Haygood of Jackson,TN, Rosa M. Fulcher of Martin, TN and Ruth Prince of Chicago, IL.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents Thomas Franklin Doughty and Ida Duke Doughty and five brothers.
Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Saturday, Jan. 19 at the Hornbeak Funeral Chapel with interment in the Wesley Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the funeral home from 5-8 pm on Friday and on Saturday until the funeral hour.
