Mrs. Lunita Grissom, age 77, of Wingo, KY died Sunday, June 5, 2011 at 6:20 p.m. at the Jackson Purchase Medical Center in Mayfield, KY.
She was a retired nurses aide and had worked for the Haws Memorial
Nursing Home in Fulton and the Martin Healthcare Center in Martin, TN.
She is survived by a son Ronnie Lynn Grissom of Texas and a daughter Teresa Ann Bing of Wingo, KY, four grandchildren and four great grandchildren; a brother Charles Gore of Arkansas and three sisters Melva
Dye of California, Paula Bondurant of South Fulton, TN and Dianne Champ of Michigan.
She was preceded in death by her husband Herman W. Grissom, her
parents Lillian Ruth (Willey) Gore and Dalton Lee Gore, a son Robert Glynn Grissom, and two sisters Nancy Hawks and Cynthia Brame.
Graveside services will be held at 2:30 pm Monday, June 6 at the Obion Co. Memorial Gardens in Union City, TN. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 12:30 pm Monday until time to leave for the cemetery for graveside services.
