Mrs. Mabel Louise Bard Copeland, age 83, of Paducah, KY and formerly of this area, died April 9, 2010 at her home in Paducah.
She was a member of the Grace Episcopal Church in Paducah, KY,
was a charter member of the Eastern Star and the American Legion,both in Water Valley, KY.
She is survived by a daughter Susan Bard Runyon of Paducah, KY,
4 grandchildren John David Travis of Paducah, KY, Michelle Leigh
Hartigan of Water Valley, KY, John Carroll Jackson of
Melissa Jamison of Rosemont, TN; 11 great grandchildren Ryan Travis,Daniel Travis, Alexandrea Hartigan, Amanda Hartigan, Annamarie Hartigan, Holly Jackson, Caleb Jackson, Anna Jackson, G.W. Jackson,
Abigail Jamison and Ryan Jamison and a sister Helen Lord of
Bridgeport, CT.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, John Paul Bard and
Berry Paul "Bill" Copeland, her parents Elias and Grace (Thompson)
Olson, a daughter Shirley Anne Bard and a brother Gordon Olson.
Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Monday, April 12, 2010 at the Hornbeak Funeral Chapel and burial will be in the Water Valley Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Sunday, 4/11/2010 from 4-7 p.m. and after 8 a.m. on Monday until the funeral hour.
