Madge Nanney Conner

March 9, 1918 — March 15, 2010

Mrs. Madge Nanney Conner of South Fulton died March 15, 2010 at the Weakley Co. Nursing Home in Dresden, TN.

She was a lifetime member of the New Hope Methodist Church and was a retired employee of the former Merit Clothing Company in Martin, TN and Mayfield, KY. She had been a member of the D.A. R., Eastern Star and the Homemakers Club. She had lived in this area all of her life.

She is survived by a daughter and son in law Annette & Tom Parnell of Cambridge, Ohio and a son and daughter in law James "Jim" & Warneta Conner of Brentwood, TN; 5 grandchildren Larry Parnell of Dublin, OH, Joe Parnell of Haines, Alaska, Penny Parnell of Cambridge,OH, Alex Conner of Brentwood, TN and Chad Conner of Nashville, TN;3 great grandchildren Kelly Parnell, Brandy Simpson and Ryan Parnell,
and a sister Ruth Mortimer of Silver Springs, MD.

She was preceded in death by her husband Milburn Burke Conner, her
parents Flarra (Felts) and James Burnett "Pomp" Nanney, and several
brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Tuesday, March 16, 2010 at the Hornbeak Funeral Chapel and interment will be in the New Hope Cemetery in Weakley Co.,TN. Visitation will be from 12 noon Tuesday until the funeral hour.
