Manuel "Manny" Linares

Mr. Manuel “Manny” Linares, 85, of Hickman passed away on May 6, 2018 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Union City, TN. 

He was born on November 10, 1932 to the late Manuel Linares and the late Maria Linares in Brownsville, TX.  Mr. Linares moved from WA State to Hickman in 2001.  He was a veteran of the U. S. Air Force and was stationed in North Africa in 15th 1950’s.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 20 years, Lois Ann Linares, son, John Dewayne Tucker, sister, Ofelia Linares, and brothers, Raul, Reynaldo, Gilbert and Alfredo Linares.

He leaves behind to cherish his memories, his dear companion, Ruth Ann Rice of Hickman, KY, step-daughters, Deborah (Richard) Adams of Everett, WA and Lila Davenport of Seattle ,WA, grandchildren, Tobi (Jessica) Gibson, Robert Hickox, Shannon Tucker, Nicholas Tucker (Alina Kharkavaya), Luke, Penney, Chris and Rebecca Adams , all of WA State and  Josh Adams (Gretta Abbott) of Hickman, great grandchildren, Dakota Adams-Mudd, Shawn and Riley Adams, Jasmine and Lily Woodward, Giovanni Mitchell and Sebastian Tucker, all of WA State and Tishanda, La Quante, Akilias and Za’Kariah Abbott of Hickman.

A memorial service will be held at the Hickman City Cemetery on Saturday, May 26, 2018 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Bryant Kerns officiating.  Burial for Manuel and Lois Linares will follow the service.
