Margaret Murphey McGuire
July 2, 1926 — February 5, 2017
Mrs. Margaret Murphey McGuire, age 90, formerly of South Fulton, TN died February 5, 2017 at the Jackson Purchase Medical Center in Mayfield, KY.
She was a member of the Parkway Church of Christ in Fulton, KY and
was a homemaker.
She is survived by two sons and daughters in law, Dan McGuire
Marianne) of Kirkland, Washington and Johnny McGuire (Toni)
of Paducah, KY; three grandchildren Shawn McGuire of Spokane, WA,
Beth Brown of Bothell, WA and Josh McGuire of Nashville, TN, five
great grandchildren and one great great grandchild and a sister Judy
Davidson (Bill) of Mayfield, KY.
She was preceded in death by her husband Elson McGuire on 4-3-2011,
whom she had married October 6, 1944, her parents Chester and Mildred
Finley Murphey, an infant sister and brother.
A special thank you goes to the Haws Memorial Nursing Home/Diversicare
of Fulton staff for all the wonderful care given.
Funeral service will be held at 2 pm on Friday, February 10 at the Hornbeak Funeral Chapel with burial to follow in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery near Pilot Oak,KY. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 12 noon until the funeral hour.
