Mrs. Margaret Meade, age 93, of Fulton,KY died January 12, 2013 at the Haws Memorial Nursing and Rehab Facility.
She served in the U.S. Army in World War II doing clerical work
and had worked for Parkway Regional Hospital for 14 years in the maintenance/housekeeping department; was a former beautician,was a riverboat cook for 8 years and was also a licensed practical nurse.
She is survived by her son David Meade of South Fulton, TN, three
grandchildren and four great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, David Meade, a daughter
Rose Harper, her parents Martin D. Duncan and Ida (Burrus) Duncan,
and a sister Evelyn Fratini.
A graveside service will be held at 1 pm Thursday, Jan. 17 at the Obion Co. Memorial Gardens in Union City, TN. Visitation will be at the Hornbeak Funeral Chapel from 11 am Thursday until time to leave for the cemetery for services.
