She was a native of Fulton KY .She was a member of the Christian Science Society.
She was an Elementery School Teacher employed by the Ladue School District in Ladue MO. She graduated from the University of IL in Urbana-Champaign IL. She also recieved a Masters Degree from Washington University in St Louis MO.She also played the violin in the Kirkwood Symphony in Kirkwood MO. She was a soloist in various churches with the Christian Science Society and a member of the Eureka Arts Council in Mo. She returned here in 1995.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Marda S. and Larry Pate of Fulton. 4 grandchildren -David Pate Manchester MO, John, Michael and Gabrielle Pate all of Fulton.
She was preceded in death by her parents Clarence A. and Lucille Cequin Stephens and1 brother.
