Marvin Louis Garmon, Jr.

Mr. Marvin Louis Garmon, Jr., age 66, of Fulton, KY died
August 16, 2014 at his residence.
He was a member of the Brooks Chapel Ministries and was a retired police sergeant with the South Fulton Police Department.
He is survived by his wife Carolyn (McGowain) Garmon of Fulton,KY, whom he married November 12, 1980; three daughters Amy Garmon,
April Garmon-Trice, both of Fulton, KY and Lisa Walker of
Hyattsville, MD; two sons Michael Alexander of Atlanta, GA
and John Mays of Louisville, KY; Nine grandchildren, two brothers
George Garmon and Joie Garmon, all of South Fulton, TN and
a sister Deloris Hartsfield of South Fulton, TN.
He was preceded in death by his parents Mattie Lou (Moody) and
Marvin Garmon, Sr.
Funeral service will be held at 1 pm Friday, August 22
at the Brooks Chapel Ministries, 230 Brooks Chapel Rd.,
Fulton, KY and interment will be in the Greenlea Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the Hornbeak Funeral Chapel from 10 am
to 12 noon on Friday.
Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association,
