Mary Alice Pennell

Mrs. Mary Alice Pennell, age 79, of Fulton, KY died Sunday,
February 26, 2017 at Lourdes Hospital in Paducah, KY.

She was a member of the St. Edward Catholic Church in Fulton,
a former nurses aid at the St Clair Hospital in St. John, Newfoundland
and a homemaker.

Mrs. Pennell is survived by her husband, Paul Pennell, whom she
married March 24, 1956, five daughters; Debbie (Byron)Temple of
Bandana, KY, Paula Pennell of Paducah, KY, Laura Bradley of
French Settlement, LA, Tammie (Stanley) Cummings of Hendersonville,
TN, Terri (Sam) York of Paducah, KY, a son William Richard "Ricky"
Pennell of Clinton, KY, fourteen grandchildren, fifthteen great grandchildren,seven sisters; Loretta Coombs of Terrenceville, Newfoundland, Selina Bouchard of New Brunswick, Canada, Marion Barnes of Fortune Bay, Newfoundland,Veronica Hickey of Terrenceville, Newfoundland, Mary Jane Labour of Fortune Bay, Newfoundland, Evelyn Cox of Terrenceville, Newfoundland, Verina Clarke of St Johns, Newfoundland, a brother, Michael Mitchell of Fortune Bay, Newfoundland.

She is preceded in death by a son, Paul Wayne Pennell, Jr., a daughter,Patricia Ann Pennell, a brother, a sister, two grandchildren, one great grandchild,and her parents, Michael and Florence Mary McCarthy Mitchell.

A funeral mass will be held at 10 am Friday, March 3 at St. Edward Catholic Church with interment in the Greenlea Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 5-8 pm on Thursday.
