Mary Elizabeth Beadles

Mary Elizabeth Mottley Beadles died at her home December 28, 2010.
She was born September 26, 1921 in Eudora, Arkansas, she was daughter of William K. Mottley and Jessie Bell Connerly Daniel.
Mary is survived by her husband of 68 years Glenn H. Beadles, son Glenn H. Beadles, Jr. of Dallas and daughters Mary B. Lindstrom of Portland, Oregon, and Ann B. Mitchell of McLean, Virginia. Four grandchildren: Benjamin A. Beadles, Matthew S. Mitchell, Jason T. Mitchell and Ellen Carrie Lindstrom Mahoney: two great grandchildren, Declan A. Beadles and Jane Mottley Mahoney.
She was an accomplished genealogist, and published several books on family genealogies. She was a member of numerous historical and patriotic societies, and a 50 year member of the DAR. She was past president of the Mothers Club of SMU, and a member of Oak Lawn United Methodist Church in Dallas.
A memorial service celebrating her life will be held at Oak Lawn United Methodist Church January 8, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. A private family internment will be at Palestine Cemetery in Fulton, Kentucky.
