Mrs. Mary Ellen Simpson of Fulton died October 5, 2010 at the Haws Memorial Rehab and Nursing Facility.
She was a member of the Greater Antioch Missionary Baptist in Fulton,KY and was a homemaker. She moved back to this area in 2002 from Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
She is survived by a sister Mildred Terrell of Fulton,KY, a brother Ben H. Marney of Jackson, TN and 21 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Alex Marvin Simpson,
her son Jessie Jr. Cross, her parents Melvin and Mattie Marie
(Brayes) Marney, 2 sisters Susie Knox and Bettie Pierce and a brother Cleatus Marney.
Funeral services will be held at 1 pm Saturday, October 9, 2010 at the Greater Antioch Missionary Baptist Church at 500 Mears Street, Fulton, KY. Interment will be in the East View Cemetery in Union City, TN. Visitation will also be at the church from 12 noon Saturday until the funeral hour.
