Mrs. Mary Helen Mayfield, age 74, of the Rush Creek Community died Friday, December 12, 2014 at Baptist Health of Paducah.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Hickman and was a former Treasurer for the Fulton County Board of Education for 27 years. She lived all of her life in this area.
She is survived by her husband, John P. Mayfield whom she married April 12, 1991, two daughters; Deborah Mudd of Hickman, KY and Dana Swearingen of South Fulton, TN, one step- daughter, Dr. Augusta Mayfield of Bowling Green, KY, four grandchildren; Alex Mudd of Hickman, KY, Ashley Dillahunty of Huntingdon, TN, Lauren Swearingen and Lisa Swearingen both of South Fulton, TN, two step grandchildren; Neal Morsi and Noah Morsi both of Bowling Green, KY, two great grandchildren; Ivy Dillahunty and Violet Dillahunty both of Huntingdon, TN and a sister, Judith Ann Anderson of Hickman, KY.
She is preceded in death by her parents, William Harold and Helen Gray
Everett.
Funeral services will be held at 11AM Tuesday at the First Baptist Church in Hickman with burial to follow in the Rush Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5-7PM Monday at the First Baptist Church in Hickman and anytime after 9AM Tuesday until the hour of service.
