Mrs. Mary Russell of the Chestnut Glade community died Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at her residence.
She was a registered nurse and had worked for Amedisys Home Health and was the managing director for the Good Samaritan Health & Wellness Center in South Fulton. She was also a member of the Tennessee Master Gardner's.
She is survived by her husband P.J. Russell of the Chestnut Glade community, her children Deede Warren (Ray) of Oakwood, TX, Richard Gipson (Sara) of Owensville, IN, Eric Russell of Cookeville, TN, Christine Thorpe of Martin, TN, Abigail S. Irvan (Ronnie)
of South Fulton,TN and Patrick Russell (Gina) of Smyrna, TN; 22 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, two sisters Peggy Hammond of West Frankfort, IL and Rose Alongi of Du Quoin, IL and a brother Billy Gene Hammond of Benton, IL.
She was preceded in death by her parents Mary Mae (Taylor) and Ruben L. Rowlett.
Funeral services will be at 11AM Saturday in our funeral chapel with burial to follow in the New Hope Cemetery in Ruthville. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 5-8PM Friday.
