Matthew Frank Barber

January 15, 1917 — March 29, 2007

He lived all of his life in this community. He was a member of the Walnut Grove Baptist Church. He was a retired railroad conductor for the Illinois Central Gulf Railroad where he was employed for 40 years. He was a member of the Elks Lodge in Fulton KY and a member of the Civitan Club.
He was a WWII Vereran of the U.S. Army. He was also a member of the American Legion and the VFW.

He is survived by his wife Ruby Lee White Barber to whom he married April 1, 1940.A son James F. Barber and wife Carolyn Barber of South Fulton, TN.A grandson Jordan Heath Barber.

He was preceded in death by his parents Benjamin Barber and Lillian Welch.1 brother and 1 sister.

Funeral services for Mr Frank Barber will be held at 10am Saturday in our funeral chapel. Burial will follow in the Obion County Memorial Gardens. Friends may call the funeral home from 5 to 8 Friday and anytime Saturday until the funeral hour.
