Mike Farmer, 52, of Fulton, Ky. died Saturday at Jackson Purchase Medical Center in Mayfield, Ky.
He was self employed and serving as a Commissioner for the City of
Fulton where he had lived most of his life.
He is survived by his wife, Kim Hoeft Farmer, one daughter, Ashley Farmer of Murray, Ky., one son, Patrick Farmer of Fulton, Ky., a grandchild, Ailey Harlow Farmer, a sister, Debbie Workman of South Fulton, Tn. and a brother, David Farmer of Union City, Tn.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Luther and Loretta Huges Farmer, and one brother, Robert Farmer.
Services are scheduled for Wednesday at 3:00 p.m. at Trinity Episcopal Church in Fulton, with the Rev. Rose Bogal-Allbritten and Rev. Matt Bradley officiating.
Visitation is scheduled for Tuesday from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Hornbeak Funeral Home. Mr. Farmer will lie in state at the Trinity Episcopal Church after 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
