Mrs. Monette Fowler died Sunday at the Haws Memorial Nursing Home.
She was a member of the Cayce United Methodist Church and
was the owner operator of the former Fowler's Grocery in Cayce, KY for 23 and a half years. She was a commissioned KY Colonel and a member of the U.M.W. She enjoyed fishing and reading. She lived most of her life in Union City TN and the Cayce Community.
She is survived by her husband Wilson Lee Fowler of the Cayce
Community, two daughters, Annell Goodwin of Cayce,KY, Betty Glen
(Bobby) Harrison of Fulton, KY, five grandchildren, Alan Goodwin of Newbern,TN, Derek Goodwin of Nolanville,TN, Shana Walker of
Delaware,OH, Melanie Curlin of Fulton,KY, Valerie Warren of
Murray,KY, twelve great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents H.H. and Anice (Woodfin)
Council and a brother Glenwood Council.
Funeral services for Mrs. Monette Fowler will be held at 11 am Tuesday, Oct. 2 at the Cayce United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in the Cayce Methodist Church Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5 to 8 pm Monday.
Mrs. Fowler will lie in state at the church after 10 am Tuesday until the service hour.
