Mrs. Nell "Moma Nell" Hemphill of Fulton passed away Saturday at her
residence.
She was born on September 7, 1923 to the late Crid Long and Opal Craven
Long.
Nell was a teller at First National Bank in Clinton for over 40 years and
a long time antique dealer. She was a member of First Baptist Church and
the Gleaners Sunday School class.
She is survived by her daughter, Jackie Hemphill Akers of Fulton, KY, a
grandson, Erik (Sarah) Akers of Schriever, LA and a great grandson, Silas Akers
of Schriever, LA.
In addition to her parents Nell is preceded in death by her husband, Jack Hemphill, a
a sister, Margaret Murray and a son-in-law Steve Akers.
Graveside services will be held at 5PM, Friday, July 2 at Obion County
Memorial Gardens. There will be no visitation held at the funeral home.
Friends may meet at the cemetery at the hour of service.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Nell "Moma Nell" Hemphill
Memorial Fund, c/o Hornbeak Funeral Home.
