Osella Barnes

March 28, 1918 — October 13, 2009

She was a member of the Bayou De Chien Cumberland Presbyterian
Church and was a homemaker. She was a former member of the Eastern
Star Chapter #554. She had lived in this area all of her life.

She is survived by 3 daughters Judy (Robert H.) Brown of Wingo,KY
Ouida (Mark) Fields of Convoy, Ohio and Carol (Dean) Pounds of
South Fulton, TN, 4 sons Gayle Barnes, Gerald (Clarice) Barnes,
Roger (Debbie) Barnes and Mike (Patricia) Barnes, all of Water
Valley, KY. Fourteen grandchildren and nine great grandchildren, five step
grandchildren seven step grandchildren and a sister Sue Laird of Houston, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her husband Burnie W. Barnes April 4, 1990, her parents Lottie (McNeil) and William Franklin Boyd, a daughter Rita Jean Barnes, 2 brothers and 4 sisters.

Funeral services for Mrs. Osella Barnes will be held at 11 am Saturday in our funeral chapel. Rev.'s Gayle & Gerald Barnes will officiate. Burial will follow in the Camp Beauregard Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5 to 8 PM Friday and anytime Saturday until the funeral hour.
