Mrs. Peggy Sue Harris Dunker of South Fulton died on Thursday, August 11, 2016 at Tennova Healthcare-Volunteer in Martin TN.
She was a member of South Fulton United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women. She worked for many years as a Teacher's Aide in the Carr Elementary School System and had spent most of her life in Southern IL and South Fulton, TN.
She is survived by her son John P. Dunker (Pat) of South Fulton, TN; two daughters Jody Dunker Lawrence (Steve) of Grand Rivers, KY, and Janet Sue Dunker of Clearwater, FL; five grandchildren Veroncia Starback of Downey,CA; Michael Lawrence of Lancaster, KY; Michelle Richter of Peepekeo, HI; Melissa Hart of San Antonio, TX; Kari Jo Lawrence Edwards of Lexington, KY; and eight great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Joe K. Dunker; her
parents Cuba Harris and Claudie Tanner Harris; her brother Jack Harris and her sister Cuba Jean Gassaway.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Dunker will be held on Monday at 1:00 at Hornbeak Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Green Lawn Memorial Cemetery in Villa Ridge, IL. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 5:00- 7:00 on Sunday.
