R. E. "Elson" McGuire

Mr. R.E. "Elson" McGuire of South Fulton,TN died Sunday at the Parkway Regional Hospital.
He was a member of the Parkway Church of Christ in Fulton and had also served as an elder. He had been the produce supervisor at the former A & P Grocery Store in Fulton. KY and had lived in this area all of his life.
He is survived by his wife Margaret (Murphey) McGuire of South Fulton,TN whom he married Oct. 6, 1944; two sons Dan McGuire of Kirkland, WA
and Johnny McGuire of Paducah, KY, three grandchildren and four great grandchildren, two sisters Carol Sue Eudy of Newland, NC and Mary Lou Riley of Paducah, KY.
He was preceded in death by his parents Ora (Frizzell) and A.A. McGuire.
Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Wednesday, April 6 at the Parkway Church of Christ in Fulton. Interment will be in the Mt. Pleasamt Cemetery. Visitation will also be at the Parkway Church of Christ from 10 am Wed. until the funeral hour.
