Mr. Richard James Feldt died March 20, 2011 at 11:05 pm at the Volunteer Community Hospital in Martin, TN.
He was a U.S. Marine veteran having served in Vietnam and was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars - Post 4862 in Union City, TN, Paralyzed Veterans of Atlanta and the Gateway Chapter in St. Louis,MO. He had moved to this area from Atlanta, GA about four and a half years ago.
He is survived by his wife Kathy (Puckett) Feldt of Kenton, TN, two sons Joseph Lynn Conner of El Paso, TX and Ricky Feldt of Joliet, IL and two grandchildren Hunter James Feldt of Joliet,IL and Travis McNellis of El Paso, TX.
He was preceded in death by his father Robert Eugene Feldt.
There will be no visitation or services held at the Hornbeak Funeral Chapel.
Memorials may be made to the V.F.W., 3915 N. Clover St., Union City, TN 38261.
