He was a graduate of Murray State University and was an accountant for International Furniture in Union City, TN. He was a member of the Fulton Country Club and the Elks Lodge. He was a supporter of Oneida Baptist
Children's Home. He had lived in this area since 1982.
He is survived by his wife of 24 years - Mary (Herr) Crider of South Fulton,TN, 2 sons- James Cooper Crider of Danville, KY and Claude Akin Crider of Houston, TX, a daughter - Carolyn Underwood of Danville, KY,
4 grandchildren: Mattie Underwood & Michael Underwood, both of Danville, KY and Claude Crider, Jr. and Hailey Crider both of Houston, TX and a sister-
Susanne Crider Bollinger of Louisville, KY.
He was preceded in death by his parents- Sara (Akin) & Emmet Cooper Crider.
Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday (6/28) in our funeral chapel. Friends may call at the funeral home from 12 noon Thursday until the hour of service. Memorials may be made to the Onedia Baptist Children's Home 11 Mulberry Street Onedia, KY 40972.
