Mr. Robert Fletcher Moss, Sr. of South Fulton, TN died July 26, 2009 at the Regional Medical Center in Memphis, TN from injuries sustained in a motorcyle - motor vehicle accident on Middle Road.
He was a member of the Riceville Baptist Church in Fulton, KY and is a member of the Tennesse National Guard 913th Engineering Company in Union City, TN. He served a 15 month tour of duty in Iraq with the McKenzie National Guard unit. He had been an employee of the Lennox Hearth Products where he was in fabrication and was employed by
Walmart in Fulton, KY for the past 6 months as an assembler . He had lived in this area all of his life.
He is survived by his wife Lisa (Gwin) Moss of South Fulton, TN whom he married July 19, 1997; his mother Dessie (Gattis) Moss of Fulton, KY; 2 sons Robert Fletcher Moss, Jr. and Lukas Reid Moss, both of South
Fulton,TN. His paternal grandmother Martha Wright of Flint, MI & maternal
grandmother Dorothy Gattis of South Fulton, TN. Also several aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, nieces and great nieces and great nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father Robert J. Moss and his materal grandfather Fletcher "Demp" Gattis.
Funeral services will be held at 11 am Wednesday, July 29, 2009 at the Hornbeak Funeral Chapel and interment will be in the Union Cemetery in Fulton Co., KY. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 5-8 p.m. on Tuesday and after 8 a.m. on Wednesday until the funeral hour.
